7 Essential Tips on How to Wake up Feeling & Looking Great

Starting your morning out right means you have a better chance of having a great day. Adding the following to your daily routine would definitely help you to look and feel your best every day. 1. A glass of water first thing in the morning

Drinking water gives your body the hydration it needs after a night’s rest. It also keeps you full and that way, you don’t get to overeat. You will notice a difference in how you feel once you drink enough water throughout your day, starting with a glass when you wake up.

2. Healthy breakfast with Protein and Complex Carbs

It’s easy to make an unhealthy meal choice due to convenience, but remember it won’t keep you full for long leaving room for overeating and weight gain. Unhealthy meals can actually leave you hungrier than before because they’re simple carbs. Instead, choose a balanced breakfast of protein and complex carbs. For example, eggs and whole grain toast bread with some oats in the mix can make a tasty and balanced breakfast keeping you full for longer period of time.

3. Moisturizer with SPF

Our weather is hot and humid! It only makes sense to protect your skin. The best way to protect your skin is to use a moisturizer with SPF and because the face has more exposure than any other part of your body, except of course your neck and hands, wearing moisturizer with SPF can lessen the amount of sun damage you sustain.

4. Skin type appropriate body lotion

We all have different skin types ranging from dry, to oily to sensitive skin. Lotion improves the look and feel of your skin. It helps to lock in moisture, preventing dry skin problems. There are different types of lotion you can choose from to suit your skin type and to keep it moisturized all day long.

5. Go to Bed Early

In other words, get enough sleep. When you’re well rested, you will definitely look and feel better. Lack of sleep can make you look stressed and tired. Getting enough sleep will help your overall effectiveness and body metabolism.

6. Happy Thoughts

Being positive can uplift your soul thereby making you look and feel great. Negativity on the other hand drains your energy! Our thoughts have a great impact on our attitude. You’ll feel better when you focus on the good things in your life and you’ll also look more attractive too. Who doesn’t like to look attractive.

7. Exercise Regularly

Want to feel better and have more energy? Regular exercise is the way to go. The health benefits of regular exercise and physical activity are innumerable. Everyone benefits from exercise, regardless of age, sex or physical ability. A few minutes a day is all that is required.
